| As a bonded specialty contractor we can repair or replace the service line to your house. Most commonly we replace old galvanized service lines common on homes built prior to 1970. As galvanized pipes age they become constricted with mineral deposits decreasing the flow by as much as 50%. After 1970 most service lines were either made of copper or poly pipe. One of the 1st attempts at poly pipe was what we call blue poly. Blue poly unlike today’s black poly pipe becomes brittle with age and eventually ends up cracking and leaking. Although we can repair blue poly we recommend replacement if we find that you have it. Our labor rate of $58.00 per hour is about half of what a plumber will charge you per hour. The pipe types we currently work with and stock in each truck are PVC, Poly, Copper, and Brass. |
